EuroAirport: Wizz Air bedient im Sommer Palermo
07. März 2021: Die erste von Wizz Air ab dem EuroAirport angeflogenen Destination in Westeuropa wird ab dem 1. Juli Palermo sein. Die sizilianische Metropole wird zweimal wöchentlich, jeweils am Dienstag und Samstag angeflogen. Bereits seit vielen Jahren wird Palermo von den in der Regio ansässigen Migranten gewünscht, denn viele mussten für ihre Ferien in der Heimat auf Ryanair an Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden oder Bergamo ausweichen. Die neue Destination soll dienstags und samstags mit einem A320 bedient werden: EAP an 20.55 Uhr (W6 5679), EAP ab um 21.30 Uhr (W6 5680). Werner Soltermann
